If you travel to Mycenae in this expectation and visit the complex, you will be a little disappointed. Only a little is reconstructed. There are basically only the foundation walls. Without expertise you can not do much with it.
I think the Greeks need to do more with these cultural goods, which undoubtedly are the foundation of Western culture. It should at least be mounted panels with pictures, as it probably could have looked earlier. It would be better, one would reconstruct parts.
