Came away a little disappointed. Here was our families experience from a 2 night stay (1-5 with 5 being best):

Value: 2.5 - 3
Accommodations: 4 - 4.5
Staff & service: 4.5 - 5
Culinary: 2.5
Breakfast: 4+
Lunch: 3.5
Dinner: 3 (Presentation: 5)
Variety: none (daily menus unchanged)

After paying $3,000/night we didn't appreciate being nickel & dimed for virtually everything else (wine starts at $18/glass (short pour...75%), cocktails at $20-$50+, spa treatments $350-$1,800, virtually all tours/excursions are extra, cheaper to buy your clothes than have them laundered, etc.

Keep in mind that you'll be charged 18% forced gratuity over and above your room rate. We wondered how much of this $500/night went to the staff vs. an undisclosed additional room charge?

Overall we had a good experience, would give them a 3.5, and after this experience would not return to Amangiri and would be skeptical about staying at another Aman resort.
