The food was excellent but on the whole the value just isn't there.
For the most part it felt as though we were sat in a room filled with tables and staff serving, which of course we were, but the service seemed a little clumsy and cluttered at times, lacking intimacy and a personal experience you'd expect. This certainly took something away from the experience.
We did have a lovely time, but at this price I just expected something a little more... special.
There were some nice touches through the evening and the floating cushion was pretty cool and funny watching everybody 'interact' with it (I'll not say anymore) although one was faulty as it just wobbled which took some of the magic away, but the sweet shop was a bit gimmicky (it also didn't quite work on the night).
Take cash for the taxi as they don't take cards, which is pretty poor.
Wonderful food, excellent wine and drinks (the non alcoholic are equally as good and definitely worth trying), but there are better options elsewhere.
