Avoid like the plague. My friend and I took a spur...

Avoid like the plague. My friend and I took a spur of the moment trip to Charleston (a 5 hour trip) and a friend who lives in the city took us to this place. It was cool and fun (even though the drinks and hookah were overpriced...at least compared to where I'm from) until we got our bill. I had two small drinks ($6) each and my friend had a large drink ($12) and another specialty drink ($10). The waiter, who couldn't understand anything we said the whole time, came by with one check totaling up to about $37. I told him to put the two small drinks on my card...he said okay (which he obviously didn't understand seeing as how he charged my friend and I both $20). My friend left him the $5 bill left over from the $25 he gave him for his check (would have been more if the service was better) and we got out of there. I left NO tip on my card, only the cash. We got out of there and then after checking my bank account two days later, I see that I have been charged $25. I call and speak with a girl in the restaurant who was very nice. She said she would have the manager call me back. Enter the queen $&@*% named Lauren Talley. She told me that I had a regular drink and small drink. After explaining the entire situation to her she kept saying that I was wrong. Believe me, I WISH I had a large drink and a small. She refused to listen to my story and said that she has my receipt where I signed it and, here's the kicker, left a $5 tip on the card that I know I didn't leave. I told her that I did not leave a $5 on the card and she rudely told me several times that I did. I said "you don't think it's possible that the waiter wrote that in himself after I left?" And she said most certainly not...because you know NO ONE does that or anything. I asked her to take a picture of it and send it to me. She told me that she would scan it to her corporate office and have them contact me about it because there's nothing else she can do for me. If someone high up is reading this, you might want to find a new manager because this girl is a real piece of work. I've worked in the service industry and I was taught that the customer is right. Instead, she basically insinuates that I'm a liar. Believe me, if they didn't overdraft my account with their random $5 "tip" that I didn't leave, I wouldn't have even bothered with calling about the approximate $10 that I overpaid. So, thanks to the incompetent waiter who doesn't know how to properly seperate a check, I'm being treated like scum. I'm still waiting for their "corporate office" to call me. I'll make sure to contact the BBB as well. Thanks for ruining my trip that I desperately deserved!
