I am a 2w patient who underwent a bariatric sleeve and then a repair of a hiatal hernia. The procedures and experience can be very overwhelming especially when you don t feel well. I have had my moments of crying and pain. I can tell you that the care I received from pre op, post op , floor nurses and aids have been and became my friends. Being in a vulnerable situation they were all there for me.
I want to send a special thank you to Suzanne in the bariatric center, Danielle, Lauren and Sona my nurses, Kathy in post op, Katie who made sure my bed was always made :) and finally Mark my advocate. I do have the power to change and can t wait to show you my journal and progress.
Thank you Dr. Fresco for giving me a new life!
