It's always been a secret dream of mine to visit a restaurant that specialized in mac 'n cheese. Imagine my delight when I got to enjoy the deliciousness of mac 'n cheese in NYC!

I loved the vibe of S'MAC with the brick walls and ceiling to floor windows. Ordering happens at computer screens where you can customize your order. I opted for the smallest cast iron size (nosh), and I ordered Garden Lite because though I'm a big eater...I just had this sense that all the pasta and cheese would fill me up fast. Nosh turned out to be the ideal size for me.

I also appreciated the cleanliness and layout of the single bathroom available for customer use.
