Thank you for your interest to receive a feedback on my review.
I have visited Sofitel with my husband on the 14th October 2020 for a day to enjoy the pool and the beach. We expected to spend our day in a nice and a cleaned place which was always one of our main concern and especially these days with this unpleasant virus situation. I must admit that all the personnel was very polite and friendly. No complain from the personnel that was in around the pool and the beach. Our disappointment was on the level of cleaning and maintenance of the outdoor facilities. The pool cabana that we have been allocated was not a clean one. Neither the others around. The wood floor was so dirty from dust and sand and full of flies around. The wooden sunbeds and a small table was also dirty from dust and sand. You could definitely say that no brushing was made for some time. While I started to clean myself the 2 sunbeds by spraying my products for some minutes, one guy from the personnel saw me and came holding a hand sprayer and sprayed over the the sunbeds and the floor. Regarding the pool which I have not entered myself since my husband's comment who had entered to the pool was that the water was smelling unpleasantly weird and the water was not clear. Furthermore, I noticed that guests who have ordered cocktails/drinks to the pool, these have been delivered by hotel's personnel from the restaurant/pool bar without any cover protection over the glasses, meaning that these were in open air until served. Consequently we did not order. Having seen the hygiene level of the facilities, we decided to leave the hotel after staying approx.2 hours without ordering anything. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment from a such category of hotel since hygiene and cleaning should be at the highest levels especially during Covid19 period.
