While nice to have this property on the map as a Girl Scout destination and shop, the public shouldn t enter with great expectations.
Poor quality history presentation has few items to show, lacking color in display or description with some old uniforms and posters. Seems like a display stuck in the 70 s
Notable lack in this first floor museum room of any appreciation for volunteer leaders growing the organization, innovative and courageous early scouts that went on to bigger leadership contributions, coverage of creative projects, growth of camp infrastructure and experiences, troop trips, etc that could give information and inspiration to visitors.
No hands on activities.

Is this housed somewhere else? If so, share a bit of the GS spirit here where it started.
The small shop at the entrance has badges, t shirts, uniform items, etc.
The overall feeling is GS is a stale relic of the past, an engine for cookie sales (and some badges).
Hope this changes.
