I bought a large system in 2015, for the cost of a decent BMW. It's been great! ...until the wifi dongle (communicates with the internet to tell you how much power the system is producing) died. Sunpower didn't notify me it died, I only found out when my end of month report said I wasn't producing any electricity any more. Cost to replace: $900. Tough luck, customer service said, but the warranty expired a couple months ago. A+ customer service, guys. Way to go.
