One of the worst restaurant experiences I ever had...

One of the worst restaurant experiences I ever had in London.
I went with my wife,for a special treat.
We were sited downstairs, in the freezing bar area.
We mentioned the temperature to a staff member that came asking if everything was OK, just to have our comments completely ignored. Also, for the next hour or so, that was the only time anyone came around.
We ordered some started and two main dishes.
The main dishes never arrived, and one hour after we had finished our starters and drinks - alas, no one came around asking if we anted to drink anything else - we decided to ask for the bill.
For our surprise, the bill included the main dishes..., which we demanded to be taken from the bill, along with any service change.
On our way out we saw some people checking the menu outside and we did them a favor by discouraging them from stepping in.
It was our good action of the day.
