Unfortunately they lie just to get an animal adopted. They told me the cat I adopted - before her surgical sutures were out after her eyes had to be removed - was found by them near Willis Road. Turns out she actually was from a hoarder case. She is showing all of the issues an animal from such a situation and none of them are good. However I made a commitment to her and will keep her, but I tell people to avoid HSHV at all costs. There are many other nearby shelters with truthful employees.
