If you visited any average museum in Europe (Vienna, Paris, Munich, Antwerp, you name it), the art exhibited at the Getty Museum is quite disappointing. The entry is free and that is what you get. You pay ten dollars for parking and that is not really worth it. It takes quite some time to get in because you need to ride a tram up the hill. The museum store sells soap and jewelry where you really ask yourself what that has to do with art. Two stars: one for the views you get over the city and one because they don t charge you. For the rest, I don t really share/understand the admiration people have for this place.
