I stayed at the Boulderado with anticipation for a great exsperience. Upon arrival, I was greated by the freindly valets. They explained how the parking works in Boulder. The valets made me feel safe and confortable to give them the keys to my vehicle.

The staff was freindly and helpful until I had to find my room. I had to walk up several flights of stairs, through several hallways, and finally we found our room after walking around without any direction. (We had to ask someone) There were no signs or markings to lead me where I needed to go. Luckily my girlfriend and I loved to walk. Once at the room, I was greated by the valet with our bags.

Once in the room, I observed duct tape holding the carpet down at the entrance of the bathroom. The tile in the bathroom was chipped on the floor. I opened the blinds and found a large light directly above my window. At night, that light reflected off the window and made looking outside difficult. For $250 a night, this was a joke and not worth the money.

The breakfast which was NOT included was very good, but this review is not about the breakfast. Our floor did not have an ice machine, so we had to go else where to other floors. That was again a maze to find one.

There were three bars and that was nice. The house cleaners were great, but the Boulderado explains that you have to ask for new sheets and towels or they change them every other day.

The hotel is beautiful and historic, until you get into the rooms which are modern. The two different themes clash and look like they do not belong.

If you were going to pay $250 a night, pay for an Air B&B because this place is not worth it.
