Let me start off and say if I could give them negative stars I would. I had an AC unit with heat pump system put in less than 4 years ago. I had a flores service tech come out and check on my ac unit and after about an hour going in and out this guy comes and tells me that he "thinks" my compressor needs to be replaced which would cost me approx. $1500 to replace. Again a unit that the manufacturer has warrantied for 10 years this flunkie (his name was Wayne FYI) is saying its bad and needs replacement not even 4 years in. Now I don't know if the tech just doesn't know anything or if its some underhanded business practice to just tell people things need to be replaced for greedy purposes ( I personally suspect both) but I think its just a terrible way to conduct themselves and their business. The worse part was when I asked the service tech why something that should last 10+ years didn't even make it 4 his response was "it happens" like that was going to be a sufficient answer. I even asked if there was something I could have done to prevent it from failing and he just looked perplexed and again said these things happen. I really don't think this Wayne fella knew much about diagnosing problems or his job at all. Needless to say I went to another company for a second opinion and they basically refuted everything the flores tech said and just serviced my units for 100 bucks and everything is running smoothly. Thank god I did that or id be out 1500+ right now. I would never recommend this company to anybody and will never use them again.
