I adopted my now 3 year old cat, Kovu, from this shelter when he was just 3 months old. He had come in with his brother the night before I went to the shelter. My roommate and I loved him instantly but felt awful about separating him and his brother. So we looked around at the other cats. We ended up back at his cage just as an adoption counselor pulled his brother's card. We immediately pulled the other card. After speaking with the adoption counselor, who was very sweet, we adopted him and took him home that night. We noticed the next day that he had worms, while the shelter offered an exchange we were already in love so instead they gave us the medication to get rid of the worms, no charge. They are a wonderful shelter and I'd recommend them to anyone.
