OK, first of all, I really appreciate our waitress, she did a good job. But that's probably the only reason I give three stars. I know whether it's overpriced is subjective and I know dish with uni usually expensive. But I would love to bring some discussion here.
For a unagi dish, eel and rice are super important. This time(the first time I've been to here), the rice had too much water in it. At certain point, I was feeling eating congee. Second, the eel had way too much fish bone in it. I don't know, be honest, whether that's the traditional way cooking eel, but this is probably the first place I had so much bone and few of them were not even soft to swallow. And this is a winter special dish, they added uni on the top. Very good quality of uni, but totally ruined by the rice. The rice was too moist and warm. It totally took the best of part of uni, the freshness away. I can't say I won't pay a visit next, because I do like there uni. So figure crossed, hopefully next time is a good experience.
