Bonnie Fotia Review of Iron Bridge Inn
Never again! We've been eating at the Iron Bridge ...
Never again! We've been eating at the Iron Bridge for over 30 years and the last few years it has gone totally downhill. We ordered the jalapeno stuffed shrimp and waited quite a while for them to arrive, they were still frozen in the centers, told the waitress and she took them back and ordered us fresh ones. We waited a good 20 minutes or more for the 2nd try and they were also cold in the centers and the batter underneath was soggy. When the waitress checked with us we told her they were still cold but we would just take them home and warm them up later. Then we waited and waited and waited for dinner. Wednesday is all you can eat crab legs and for $40 you would think you would get some nice size crab legs but nope! They were very tiny. The largest section of leg was about 3 inches long and the only part of the leg worth breaking open which hardly required the cracking tool. The piece of corn was barely warm. My husband ordered battered cod and french fries. The fries were burnt and cold and the cod was burnt. Baked potato and cole slaw were fine. The waitress was very nice and took the appetizer off our bill. They were not busy at all. I can remember having a wait every night of the week, not anymore, that tells me I'm not the only one dissatisfied and not returning.
