Terrible experience in Shrub & Shutter this evening, which was surprising given we visit regularly and usually have a great time. Made our way to the bar to ask for a table only to be greeted by a blonde female member of staff clapping her hands at us shouting you don t just walk through here without saying hello, this is a venue . I was completely shocked and surprised by her behaviour and comments given they don t usually have staff at the door to greet customers, hence why we walk towards the bar. We left immediately after being made to feel extremely uncomfortable - horrible experience and fingers crossed nobody else experiences the wrath of this lady - management take note!
