I would like to personally thank the ladies who answered my phone calls at the New Westminster police non emergency lines. Every single time I called in, someone very friendly and welcoming spoke to me.
I was then contacted by one of the most caring and helpful officer R. Phillips.
He listened attentively to my issues and concerns regarding the welfare of an elderly family member. I was so touched by how caring and understanding of the current situation at hands. He was able to calmly and confidently make me feel at ease and even followed up with great suggestions and advice on how to peacefully handle this sensitive matter.
We need more compassionate and selfless officers like this.
