The temples are indeed beautiful, and the hill is very nice to roam,with the olive groves and the scattered stones. However, the entrance ticket is rather expensive and then you get herded by assistants all the time (which is fair, given the stream of tourists, but nevertheless annoying) . There are loads of restoration works going on in the Acropolis, which are indeed both necessary and interesting to look at, but subtract to the fascination of the scene. A tip for those who like me have a somewhat reduced mobility: the paths are uneven and the marble slippery, and the steps are loads, often without a rail.
