Alyssa Howlett Review of US Protection Service

Working for Royce U.S. Protection Service was by far the most hostile and toxic work environment I have ever worked in. After submitting the required notice they immediately begin to reroute your duties behind your back and management begins to cold shoulder you. They do not ask for assistance in the duties that you had been responsible for up until submitting notice. Management will ask you multiple times if you truly intend to work out your notice, and act as though they do not have any part to play in why you are leaving the company, and reroute all of your emails to the Branch Manager. At my location in Columbus Ohio, the "VP" claimed he would be taking a step back after verbally accosting myself and the Office Manager, calling us childish for not allowing him to interrupt a hiring class and being rude to the projected new hire (to make sure he could stand a post for longer than 8 hours or use an IPad, or it was a waste of time. Assuming the hire was 'too old' to understand the ipad). Then on my final day of employment our company Jason Thatcher again questioned a pregnant co-worker about working out her notice and when she responded that she had all of her duties stripped from her and didn't understand the need for her to return, he began to talk to us like we weren't adults who knew what it was like to professionally work out a required notice. He then told us that we could both just leave now (at 2:30pm on my final day of my 2 week notice) and called our payroll department and told them that "it was playing out just like they thought it would". I am under the impression that they will be attempting to drop my pay to minimum wage, even though I was asked to leave and all but physically walked out of the office.
I could not regret working for this company any more than I do.
