Lovely location and my friends tell me great wines...

Lovely location and my friends tell me great wines. I wouldn t know as we turned up thinking we had a booking (unfortunately I had made a mistake as
we had booked Yering Station). We arrived and no one was around at all. Place was completely empty. We spoke to a lady and advised we had a group larger than 6. The lady (wish I got her name, medium brown hair and short) who was attending tasting area was extremely rude and advised that she coudn t accomodate more than 6 as it was so busy and fully booked. 3 of us were ok to leave, because she was extremely rude about the situation. We hung outside and no one turned up. Not one person! My other friends who stayed on for tastings said she took everyone through tastings without explaining wines. We had people from Hong Kong and Perth there who had questions but the lady responded as if she was doing them a favour in assisting. Overall it was the worst experience we have ever had at a winery ever. We went to Coombe and Chandon (without bookings) after and they were amazing.
My tip: hire more personable people. Had it not been a horrid experience from the start we would have purchased bottles. The winery missed on minimum $1000 of income.
They could have accommodated a couple of more people as no one arrived at all and the winery was empty.
On another note - thanks for saving us money that allowed us to spend money at Coombe and Chandon.
Recommendation to others - pretty place but DO
NOT BOTHER!
