I'm Italian, from Tuscany. When I was 4 years old child at home we had a nail clipper. I played by dragging it on the sheets of the bed as a vehicle driving up and down the mountains. It was a nail clipper marked "Basset USA". That time was the late 50th and this clipper has passed unscathed through all troubles. We are still using it. We had another nail clipper from another unknown brand, that being new cut better, but was split shortly after.
By searching "Basset U.S.A." on the internet and I was pleased that the company still exists. I must say the quality of the product is very good; at least that one produced 60 years ago.

It was a nail clipper with "Basset U.S.A" written on it. It was the end of the 50s and this nail clipper went through all the family vicissitudes, removals, etc. unscathed. and we still use it. I had another nail clipper from another unknown brand, which being new cut better, but broke shortly after.
By chance I went looking for "Basset U.S.A." on the internet and I was pleased to see that the company always exists. I cannot fail to testify to the excellent quality of the product; at least the one produced 60 years ago.
