I had visited the resort with my full family including my 9 month old daughter just last week. The entire trip was planned around my little daughter and I must say the resort staff made it a wonderful & memorable trip for all of us.
The property is huge and has been designed around the idea of being conservationist. You just don't find even a thing that can harm the nature there. It is here that you realise how polluted is our environment that we live in back in our big cities. The constant chirps of birds, clear skies at night showing so many stars are the signs of that. You just cannot experience that anywhere in our cities.
Usually, when the resorts are blessed with ambience, the food is something that you compromise on or vice versa but not at Evolve back, Coorg. This place is not only blessed with ambience (and they've maintained it too) but also has awesome food to offer for the residents. We stayed here for 3 nights which had like total of 12 meals including breakfast, high tea, lunch and dinner but I never had to repeat a single dish in these 12 meals. They just feed you to the maximum and that too with so much love and passion. A special mention has to go to Chef Chandy and Chef Sudhanshu who are fantastic at their job but are even better as a person because they go out of their usual job description to accommodate any special requests you have irrespective of the time and frequency. We had troubled them for separate preparations for our baby and they not only fulfilled our wishes but also made sure that we got the best and that too without a frown. I am seriously thankful to them to make all those baby foods we asked them to and that really made our vacation stress free. It was literally like using their kitchen to cook the way you want. We just used to give them instructions and they used to comply. Our baby did not have any fuss about the food, so all those parents worried about the same should just blindly book your holiday here. I guarantee that your baby will be in safe hands.
The rooms/villas are thoughtfully designed and are well maintained. They are very clean and all the facilities/amenities are working. The housekeeping staff is very efficient and very modest and comply to your instructions if any. The pools in the villas have a different access altogether for the cleaning staff so the attention to detail is immaculate. In fact, it is so immaculate that the pool also has a direct but secured access to the villa's bathroom so that you don't have to worry about making the villa wet after swimming. Very nice planning.
I have to specifically write about the hospitality here. I have travelled in India and abroad but haven't seen such awesome hospitality and I am not exaggerating at all. I met/came across at least 30 different staff members but all of them had this modest, welcoming smile and they were eager to help a lot. I must say that whoever has picked these people has done a wonderful job of finding such nice human beings because it cannot be just training that makes them this good. These are actually very nice people and they just make your stay wonderful. In my stay of 3 nights, I did not see a single occupant in the resort complaining about anything whether it is about housekeeping, reception, food. They even arrange poolside dinner on weekends which is just cherry on the already delicious cake.
Some people need a special mention like 1 of the captains Ashoka, the stay coordinator Bhagyashree, Activity center men Jackson, Mani, Concierge executive Karthik, haystack store person Shivappa and some more whose names I couldn't know but they have left a lasting impression on me.
This is really one of those places where you would surely recommend your friends & family to go like most of the surveys ask us these days. Evolve back Coorg & its staff are an epitome of hospitality & customer centricity and I promise that I will visit there again not once but more times for sure.
Kudos to the entire team & sorry if I've missed on to mentioning anybody else's name.
