Lydia Arranz Review of Bar Bambino
GOOD EXPERIENCE
GOOD EXPERIENCE
We decided to try one of the typical Polish milk bars. We went to eat at around 2:00 p.m. The dynamics of the place is to enter, ask what you want to a girl who is sitting in a room, pay and give you a ticket. With that ticket you go to the kitchen area, deliver it and prepare it. Meanwhile, you are looking for a table. They have menu in English (thank goodness). They prepare it quite quickly and when they have done it they say the name of the dish and you go to pick it up. Do not worry if you do not understand it, because showing the ticket tells you if it's your dish. We ask
- Zurek z kielbasa 6'45 zl ( 1.50)
- Piers z kurczaka 7'70 zl ( 1.80)
- Pierogi ruskie 7'80 zl ( 1.82) (the most typical "empanadillas")
- Sernik 5'35 zl ( 1.25) (it's a typical cheese cake)
We wanted to try typical dishes and that we did. The soup was fine, fillet something dry. The best were the pierogi, they came 6 and they fill up a lot. The cake was also very rich. They do not serve alcohol.
Something that caught my attention is that people asked for 1 plate, ate fast and left, some were not sitting or 5 minutes, so if you see the tables busy do not worry that they get up quickly.
TOTAL: 27'30 z (6'36 ) for 2 people (3'15 / per)
NOTE: 7/10. For the value for money it is very good.
RECOMMENDATION: Pierogi ruskie and sernik
