I hate giving places a lower rating than they trul...

I hate giving places a lower rating than they truly deserve just because of an employee, but others need to be made aware of the situation we were faced with. My father purchased multi use passes for our whole family, and at the end of the transaction (when you would typically mention a veteran's discount) we were told that by the employee that we couldn't apply the discount now that everything was done and that we should have told him at the start that we wanted the veteran's discount applied. The employee had a pretty bad attitude about it and said he would have to redo everything and made it seem impossible. My father served our country and was rewarded with a confrontation. Instead of being salty, the employee should have insisted upon redoing the process to get our passes (which hadn't taken very long at all). In what world do you tell an employee at ANY establishment that you would like a military discount before everything is rung up and processed? I've never heard of this. It's just disappointing.
