We needed a chimney cleaning and had a recommendation so decided to go with American Chimney. They sent someone out they spent less than a hour or close to it. When he finished he told us we needed the back wall re bricked and it would be about 1500 $ he tried to get it to schedule the appointment but it sounded fishy so we hesitated. Then we received a invoice for the job the man had done for cleaning of 265. Most places charge around 150. So after speaking with several other chimney places( for rates and fees ect) i gave the manger a call to speak with her about the unfairness of their services she was extremely rude but finally agreed to drop 100 off of the bill. Now the best part!! we called a different company to give us another inspection after this had happened to address the brick issue. Surprise !! there was no need to replace the bricks. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES. GET A SECOND OPINION OR QUOTE.
