After walking past the backdrops of the floating stage over the past few years, this is the first time I've visited an opera as part of the Bregenz Festival. The backdrop of Lake Constance at dusk makes a visit to the opera in Bregenz an experience. There are plenty of dining options on the forecourt. A visit to the festival is also recommended for newcomers to opera.
