Please read carefully. This information is provided by me for future guests that are planning their vacations, in case they want to book here. I am being as constructive and realistic as I could possibly be about the review below. No hard feelings at all from my side, to the hotel or anyone involved.

This is one giant property. Situated on a sandy beachfront and spread over the hill. It has the main building and bungalows. There are 2 main pools by the main building. The rest of the pools are located in different locations of the property, away from the main pools. The property is clean and offers beautiful views.

But certainly, I feel there is a hype about this resort. Rooms are basic, with minimum facilities. The mini bar is very basic and is not filled daily. The room where I am located is noisy. It is hard to sleep before 1 AM due to the noise coming from the hall. The most concerning was the housekeeping staff who were almost yelling while talking to each other. There would be a huge screech when the furniture would be moved around the room from the upper floor, too.

On the other hand, the beds are comfortable so are the pillows. Air condition works perfectly well. So does the WiFi. Generally the staff are very polite but they don't go the extra mile, as I would expect from the calibre of this resort.

What is more, the resort is more concerned regarding the maintenance of their system, than guest satisfaction. To be more precise. They try to implement a lot of rules that are CONVENIENT for them and they don't seem to care if it means that it will affect the customer satisfaction. I have visited different resorts and I am not biased at all. I have rated properties many times and gave them 5 stars, when they deserved them. 5 stars to me, among many, is when customer is the main priority, ratuer than the system that the customers need to adjust. I asked for brown sugar on a coctail, for example, and the guy grom the bar said I am instructed to use only white sugar for the selected drink! I took a hot dog from their snack kiosque, for my kid, and sat on the bar adjacent to the main pool for a drink, only to be told that food is not allowed for 'hygienic' reasons! The sunbeds by the pool are 'reserved' every morning by the guests by leaving the towels there until 10 AM before they come back. Although it is forbidden by the hotel rules, the staff doesn't do anything about it. I complained to the guest relations lady and she said that I was right!

The food in main restaurant Cosmos is very good, but very repetitive during breakfast and lunch. There is not as much choice as I have seen in other 5 star resorts, for example. In order to make a dinner reservation in their a-la-carte restaurants, online booking is needed through their app, and it doesn't seem to always work. You can book in a specific restaurant, only once per stay. There is a decent selection of drinks in bars throughout the resort. Coctails are good but nothing to be wowed for. Wine, however and beer are only local. Any extras need to be paid and are not offered in all inclusive plan, including bottled water!

Verdict.

I usually feel a 5 star resort, is a resort that is only concentrated even to the minimum needs of the clients, always with a smile.
Would I come back? Unfortunately, no. For the money paid, I feel one could find better alternatives in different places, different countries. Enjoy your holiday .
