Jamie and another gentleman arrived on time and ready to solve the problem. Our AC was not achieving the temperature that we set it at. Tommy Garner was referred to us by our home warranty company (American Home Shield) and they usually refer a different company and we have had this AC issue with them for the past 5 years so I was glad to have a different company come out. We have had to recharge our AC every summer for the past 5 years with the other company and we kept telling them that there has to be a leak somewhere because our line from the unit freezes over and we have to shut the unit down until it defrosts. We explained this to Jamie and he asked if the unit we have in the attic also is freezing over. My husband had just been up there the day before and did notice that it had indeed frozen over. He said that once the line outside is frozen then the one in the house would be too because the leak comes from inside first. He said that the unit would need to be recharged and that he would also add a sealant to the system that should take care of the leak if it's a small one. I was so glad to hear something other than "your unit needs to be recharged". Now hopefully the sealant took care of the issue and we won't have to "recharge" every summer. Jamie was knowledgeable and explained everything. Hopefully if we have additional AC issues/concerns they will send Tommy Garner back out and hopefully we will get Jamie again.
