Lear and Pannepacker have been our accountants for over 10 years, beginning when our previous long term accountant joined them and later retired. They have been reliable supporters through that and a subsequent staff change with Scott Pannepacker guiding the process. In addition to preparing our taxes Karen Doo and her L+P coworkers pay some of our bills that can t be paid automatically (we are snowbirds and travelers), made the inevitable NY City and State audit simple for us after our move to SC, provide us with monthly summary statements of our expenses and receipts, interact with our (now) Australian son and his lawyer on filing appropriate tax documents, and advise us on a variety of related issues.
