This location is a bit of a disappointment, particularly for the price and promise of a river view.

First, this a shady part of town. Nothing to do about that, just set expectations.

The property is average for a mid grade hotel. Upon check-in, we were briefed about some sort of bug infestation like gnats or something. Maybe a Florida thing. These thing were covering our door at night, and a number of them did get in to our room. Probably nothing the hotel could do, but, again, set expectations accordingly since the room entries are outdoors.

Our room was clean and spacious on the 4th floor. The door did not seal well, and the bathroom had a Florida louvered window in it thus a fair amount of sound entered our room from the truck deliveries to the restaurant below, traffic noise, and from people in general.

We did indeed have a river view, with the unsightly rooftop in between our room and the river. The balcony was also very noisy.

Not horrible, but expensive for the amenities returned.
