What a horrible toxic place!! My partner was a top student in the first year, the last two terms of the second year were wiped out due to strikes and Covid, no tuition of any substance was provided during this time. As soon as we submitted a claim for recompense for lost tuition my partner was immediately then accused of plagiarism.
All work had been submitted as previously and was within the guidance rules, all accusations were totally unfounded. They would not provide the supporting evidence as they saw it until just before the hearing, my partner was not allowed any representation and there were four of them. We had a barrister provide advice on what to submit in writing to them and she confirmed they had no justifiable case. A letter was submitted in my partners absence, which was totally disregarded, and they continue to play the plagiarism accusation.
