Please note this is about the HOTEL, the spa is pretty great. Every detail about the hotel screamed stressful, cheap motel experience and unraveled any relaxation benefits of the spa. The hotel positions itself as a somewhat luxury experience - they have a partnership with personal care line rituals, and a ton of personal care facilities. The rooms look and feel like motel rooms, and our ground floor room (with full sized windows) faced the parking lot. So romantic! If you re a couple - it ll be great fun to discover the double bed is literally two twin beds pushed together. The room just has shower gel - we had to call down for shampoo. The said they don t have conditioner and they don t provide body lotion. If you were hoping to have smth for your dry skin at the end of a 5 hour spa day, either be prepared to be forced to buy full sized rituals products or just bring some with you. They staff are generally unhelpful. We wanted to go for a walk on a rainy day, they don t provide umbrellas in the room. At reception they gave us one after a bit of a struggle, and when asked for a second one (we are two people) she said we only have 1. It was only after 5 min of arguing she gave us a second one. On our checkout day, our card stopped working around 10:45. Checkout being at 11, we had gone for a walk and couldn t access our rooms. So much fun. Besides that, the food was mediocre, the service was slow and chaotic. Our meal was included in our hotel rate otherwise I would have avoided eating here. My advice would be to stay in the city and just come for the spa. There s no reason to stay or eat at Spa Zuiver.
