I return to flatiron because of location and my forgetfulness. I actually ordered the same meal as pictured below on my last visit. And didn't like it then. I guess its my optimistic nature that sees a appealing description and wants it to be so.

But in this reiteration I got a tired , grizzly rib eye set upon mash potatoes with very indistinguishable broccoli rabe and cauliflower Granted this was a busy weekend but thats when you want to shine, right? But the menu remains almost the same as my first visit five years ago.

I enjoyed the beers on tap and actually smiled at the bartender's tired ploys for tips with other customers. But there are better options in Davidson these days and i hope to remember them on my next visit.
