This facility while nice looking and well laid out...

This facility while nice looking and well laid out does not offer the care you would expect. We placed our mother there who had been cared for at home for 8 years. In the twelve days she was in this facility our family witnessed a severe lack of staff. This lack of staff equated to residents not being toileted enough, not being showered enough, not being supervised enough. Finding our mother sitting in a common area with no bra, dirty hair and soaking wet pants was the last straw. Of course, having another resident begin to hit and choke a fellow resident with a staff person not even responding until one of my sisters yelled out about what was going on, was the icing on the cake. While the front area staff when signing your loved one up to live there assures you that there is more than enough staff at all times, that is a fallacy. If that were in fact true, our mother would not have left that facility with what was basically diaper rash and severe chaffing down her legs.
