I have never met a better police department. I have severe depression and have had several interactions with these people. They have generally treated me with dignity and respect and several times talked with me for hours. One time an officer bought me some food as an alternative to hospitalizing me. I was amazed. I'm used to authority figures being unreasonable asshats but this department was not. Honestly they acted like cops on T.V. While I wish there wasn't a patrol of people around to throw you in a pen for being suicidal I can say that if one has to exist this is the one I'd choose. Thanks guys.
