This is such a fun place. The highlight of this place, obviously, is the eastern market where you have the most amazing breakfast and brunch options. On Saturday and Sunday there is a market place outside the eastern market where you will find vendors from all over DC; one can buy anything from fresh veggies, fruits, home cooked food, street food, jewelry, paintings, to art pieces, etc. Alongside, you will find several eateries in the neighbourhood. Parking can be a bit difficult, therefore, commuting using the metro is the best option. Also, if you live in SW DC, you can take the free shuttle that goes from l'enfant plaza to the eastern market and beyond.
