Zaftigs is a place I want to love but I find that I can't. The staff is great but have too many tables each to make one feel well served. Consistency is also an issue. I've never had anything bad, yet ordering the latkes several times had been hit or miss; they've come straight from the frier and been super fresh and delicately crispy and other times have been cold and over fried, approaching hockey puck status. Give them a shot, they may be worth it this next time.
