For beginners, I am not associated with OTA (Online Trading Academy), nor its administration, and I am not providing this review as part of a promotional reimbursement.
My experience with OTA, its staff and instructors, has been very positive, even though I have taken classes for only two months.
My motivation for selecting OTA to lead me through the myriad paths of investing in the financial markets is multi-faceted :
1) I have a desire to proactively control how my hard-earned money is used for my retirement.
2) I have a desire to alter my old career paths into a more rewarding, and more profitable direction.
3) I need help understanding how to apply the financial resources available to me to achieve my goals.
4) I want professional, experienced, and enthusiastic guidance for embarking on my new career path, and to support me down the road when I need it.
5) I want results sooner, not later, to allow me the time to enjoy the results of my effort.
Guess what ? OTA meets all of my requirements. After researching my many possibilities for the best method of reaching my goals, I decided on OTA. From the sales personnel, to the educational counselors, instructors, support staff, and administrative personnel, all the way down to the actual campus facility and its accommodations, there was never a doubt that I made the right decision.
Attending the OTA training is like going back to college to learn a new profession. Sure it is hard work, time-consuming, and not inexpensive. But that means that achieving my goals will be worth every investment I make - professionally and financially. To the reviewers who complain about the cost of this education, I would ask that if you value the quality of your training, at what price would you "book your order to buy" ? And the parallel to the old adage that "you get what you pay for", is that "you DON'T get what you DON'T pay for".
My appreciation goes to all OTA personnel, and especially my instructors - Steve Hanahoe (Core Strategy), Tim Blotzer (Options), and Jerry Baldwin (Futures), and my education counselor Andy Dominguez.
One of my favorite pieces of advice from the OTA crew is "What you do now will secure your financial success for the rest of your life" - words I intend to live by.
