Audobon Park is yet another natural gem in New Orleans. Not as vast or varied than her sister City Park, Audobon Park exudes a more neighborly feel with a more compact size, though it never feels too small. Here you'll find a mix of mostly locals and some tourists, promenading along the park's signature trail. This is a great place to get a nice measure of New Orleans's nature, that of the tropical vegetation and the wildlife, particularly the birds that have made the park home. Ideal place for a break or picnic anytime of the day.
