I drive nice luxury car and have been going to Hudson's Import Service for a couple of years. Every Single Time I take my car in for something minor, I get a phone call about 2 hours later giving me "Bad News". It never failed with it ending with me calling my father crying b/c I don't have $1000+ to "fix" what they claim is broken. Well, a few wks ago, I dropped my car off at 8am only to get a phone call around 9:30am telling me that my radiator was "cracked in half"! So I'm confused b/c it was fine when I dropped it off at 8am! They said the tech smelled coolant and that there was a 6" crack going right up the front and it was going to almost $800 to have it fixed, so I could just leave it there overnight and they could do it the next day. I told them I had plans to have tires put on somewhere else the next morning then I was headed out of town. They basically made me feel like my car was a death trap for me and my young child to travel in. Because I had NO warning signs of a cracked radiator ie: overheating, leaking coolant, or smoke or odor coming from under hood, I started to feel like they were taking advantage of me. I took it the next morning to have tires put on and had them look at my radiator. There was a 2.5" hairline crack at the very top near where you add the coolant, and still hadn't leaked any fluid out of it. The tire place did a free Pressure Check for the radiator only to find NO leaking!!!!! I was able to go to Advanced Auto and pick up radiator sealant for under $4 in case I needed it while I traveled. It's been 3 weeks and my vehicle is still running perfectly.

I swear they keep tabs on their regular customers and whatever they haven't fixed recently.....they want to mark it off, so they tell you it NEEDS to be done! I have decided to cut ties with Hudsons bc I've been lied to and taken advantage of. They don't have a Facebook page, and I'm assuming it's bc there isn't a way to delete negative reviews. So I will also be contacting the BBB about this.

Do NOT have Hudson's fix anything on your car without getting a 2nd opinion first!
