1 star is too much to give these guys.
Dave, and Belinda Adamson are great people. The owners are amazing and I am sure if they knew what the 3 Stooges in their Lancaster office were up to they would right away put a stop to it.
1.) Let's start off with the beginning of employment. No professional training at all! My first 2 weeks I was thrown a script and told to head on my way. Verbal harassment if we did not get the sales but, how are we to conduct sales if we were not properly trained?
2.) A young lady who had also worked here had encountered some sexual harassment by the 2 knuckle heads. Asking her to come to a lavish vacation over the weekend to the casino. As well as a picture of the one male's genitalia picture floating around. Myself, and this other employee have had the photograph waved in our faces, along with it getting sent to the group chat for everyone to see when the group chat is for business only.
3.) The communication is ridiculous. A string of text messages sent to your phone. If you do not get any full sales you get called vulgar names, Screamed at even. The conductor of all this is the clowns behind the desks Ray, Mitch, and last but not least Carl.
4.) They fire you after your first couple of weeks if you do not get sales however even though you werent trained its still your issue.
5.) However I will give them props, they did hire 3 new employees, and apologized and offered 2 hours of training. Did I mention all we did was sit there while the "boss" looked for cheap apartments on craigslist.
6.) The company vans... we were driving in was to be fully functional and safe.... Is driving at 40 mph, and the vehicle just shutting off going down hill safe and fully functional? We were lucky our team leader knew how to drive. Our boss was not even aware of the issue due to his face being plastered to his phone during the incident. Good one Carl.
7.) I'm sure all of you know what we do. Canvassing, well one of the bosses are out with us each time we go canvassing he works so hard by sleeping in the van after dropping us all off. You're right not all of us get to get paid to sleep, and drive a broken down mini van.
8.) They are thieves. A previous employer had worked a full 40 hours. We are too get $400.00 regardless of sales. This young man had not even recieved a third of his check, and still battling for the rest. They refuse to pay it. Along with another previous employer tried to retrieve his check, and the "Oh-so professional" company locked the doors yelling they will not pay him. Brought this to Ray's attention who is a struggling alcoholic, refused payment again, and I informed him I will be going to the department of Labor and Industry and filing wage theft on him, HE CALLED THE COPS FOR HARASSMENT. Because he didn't like what he was hearing. Very professional.
9.) Customer service is our specialty right?!? Well If you look at all the negative reviews on Apen Home Improvement you really will see how hard these men do not work. So many people have issues with the installations, us canvassers get the heat for not knowing everything about the company which if we had the training im sure we wouldve done a better job, and so many people have an issue with reaching the company after they recieve their money. I dont know about you however if I have a specific job I want to do it right, with these knuckle heads you cant get anything done.
10.) If you have an issue with something they say or do. They attack you for how you're feeling makes the big guys feel a little better. Mind you if you're trying to reach Mitch he is either in his office talking to his friends, and mommy on the company phone or outside throwing a temper tantrum.
Finally, If you do not want to be robbed, sexually and verbally harrassed, and actually recieve an income DO NOT WORK HERE.
