I had a great experience with King Ritson Dental until a situation that happened that caused me to leave. Dr. Christi, was a fantastic dentist, I appreciated his welcoming personality, humour and comfortable environment that's what the two stars are for.
The loss of the rest:
One night as I was having a filling and as I was finishing up, the hygienist who I was scheduled to see the week later for a cleaning, came to me and told me she had a cancellation and asked if I'd like to do my cleaning that night instead of coming next week. I thought, sure! Why not?! This fills her chair for the hour, I don't have to come back next week and I get my cleaning done. A win, win. After finishing my cleaning the receptionist brings me my bill, shows me what my insurance paid and my balance due. As I review the charges I notice a 'emergency fee' for the cleaning. I asked what is this for? I was told because it was not scheduled for the cleaning and it was an emergency appointment. I did not understand, firstly, who needs an emergency cleaning and secondly, I did you a favour by filling your chair time. I brought it up to the hygienist who brushed it off and stated it was the policy. I was upset and needed to go get home to my kids, otherwise I would have inquired further and requested to see the policy. I will never go back to King Ritson Dental again and I suggest that anyone who does, monitor their bills whether it's your hard earned money or through your insurance. This is a terrible practice and you've lost a customer for life as well as everyone else I share this story with in my personal life.
