The stay took place during COVID-19 times. The hotel has a clear and effective concept, which is based on the least possible contact between the guests.
Right at the beginning we were greeted in a friendly and courteous manner, without having to wait, and shown to our room. The hotel lobby reflects the oriental style and is always filled with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The buffet breakfast and the buffet dinner are a bit slimmed down due to the corona situation, but ok.
However, the various a la carte restaurants on the premises are outstanding, which are included but must be reserved in advance.
The pool and beach area are also spacious and very attractively designed.
What made the stay really 5 *, were the consistently courteous staff. Everyone always found a short positive word and they quickly got into conversation. You were never greeted without a smile and felt every minute that the wellbeing of the guests was taken care of inside and outside without being intrusive. Many employees speak German and look forward to a little chat.

- You can tell the age of the hotel rooms. At a 5 * Steigenberger hotel I expect more, especially since there are countless, significantly cheaper 5 * all-inclusive hotels in the area.
- The W-LAN speed and reliability is more than expandable. Each hotel room only has one access for 2 devices. Additional accesses usually have to be acquired. However, we were given 2 additional accesses for free (thanks again to the very courteous staff!)
- Beach is only moderately suitable for swimming because it is very, very flat up to the buoy line
