We spent the 4th of July at Grassmere with the grandkids. I was a little concerned about the crowds and temperatures, but found that there were no lines anywhere and that we had plenty of opportunities to cool off. The park was clean and well maintained. Some of the exhibits were outstanding. The tiger exhibit was better than any zoo exhibit I have ever been in. I encourage you to spend a day at Grassmere.
