I booked a seat in a box at Teatro Alle Scala for Eur 300. I liked how each box gets their own cloak room. The theatre is off course gorgeous. A lady from the Dominican Republic sat next to me and wouldn't stop talking either to me or to herself. The performance started and she decided to switch on her telephone and chat to others via whats app, talk and typing messages. I asked her many times to stop. I went to the usher outside and told him and he could care less. He told me people don't come here to see opera but to say they have been to Teatro Alle Scala and that it was a tourist trap. He refused to help me and so I went back in. The opera was not that good. The lady next to me was now taking videos and photos and sending them to the world on her phone as was many other people in the Opera house. I go allot to the Opera houses in London, Munich and Moscow which are simply the best and the Teatro all Scala was simply terrible. I walked out after 25 mins and had enough.
