Bought a used Mercedes from here. It s been a few weeks since I have gotten the car home and I realized that nobody filled up the gas tank when I left. No big deal, but then I found out there was no windshield wiper fluid in it. No big deal. Then I found out that an exterior flap to the soft top was broken, and just yesterday the check engine light came on and it is now being repaired at Mercedes.

I intend to keep the car, but I ve got to say when I purchased it, I was told it was inspected and everything was in order and it is not. To me, if nobody looked at in detail no notice there wasn t any wiper fluid, what about the rest of the fluids? If nobody saw the broken flap that only appeared when the top was down, what else is there? I was willing to look past the minor issues but I am not happy because at this point I have no idea as to the true condition of the vehicle I purchased and it is undergoing a multipoint inspection at Mercedes.

I don t think it is fair to have to have it in the shop after only 3 weeks. I reached out to the dealer and they said they only fill the gas tank 1/4 on USED cars. What's the difference between a new and used car for gas? They also asked me to bring the car back for repairs. I opted to take it to the dealer instead. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this dealer for anyone. Sad experience for somebody who just wanted honesty and a good car.
