Back in 2013, me and my wife were hired by this law firm to portray a couple of perspective clients in a commercial for the local cable company. On May 17, 2013 we spent the whole day with the film crew, Mr. DeZao and his staff at his office in Parsippany. Everything went well and we did finish within schedule later in the day. After agreeing upon our fee we proceeded to collect payment and were told to submit an invoice which we did. After a month, since we had not received payment we proceeded to call the office in an attempt to find out what was going on. I spoke with the office manager who told me to resubmit the invoice. After another month went by, I again contacted the office manager who refused to let me speak to Mr. DeZao and once again told me to forward the invoice. I sent 5 reminders in total and finally gave up. In June of that year I saw the commercial airing in most local channels as well as on channel 12. I really cannot formulate an opinion about Mr. DeZao as an attorney, but certainly his office and staff do not believe in living up to their commitments.
