I am the original owner of my condominium built by Holmes Homes in 2010. Sadly there have been several construction defects. Improper installation of windows, no flashing, stucco was not applied correctly and the list goes on. Ultimately, these defects have lead to water intrusion. Damages are estimated to be at least 4 million dollars for all 84 units. Holmes has been less than cooperative. After 5 years of being under litigation between our HOA and Holmes; The case went sideways and Holmes Homes won. We are now having to pay out of pocket for construction repairs as well as Holmes attorney fees. I m baffled and disgusted that Judge Faust would make this ruling. This is not limited to Holmes Homes or Judge Faust. This is happening state wide. Our HOA attorney says that construction defect cases no longer exist in this state and builders are able to build poor construction as they please in order to cut costs. Home buyers BEWARE!
